Fixing the display of the iPhone 12 will cost you more than a new 5G mobile
The iPhone 12 is already a reality since last October, when the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro began to be marketed.
Since its launch we already have information on the price that it would cost us to repair the screens of these mobiles, which has always been the most expensive component to fix.
As we all know, the four iPhone 12 models released by the company come with support for 5G networks but it is not the only feature that they agree on. Even if they are larger or smaller, all Apple smartphones boast a Super Retina XDR OLED screen, supported, like the rest of the components, by a 2-year warranty according to the law in Spain.
This repair warranty, of course, does not cover accidental damage so if your iPhone 12 screen breaks, you will have to go through the box yes or yes. And it won't be cheap.
How much does it cost to repair the iPhone 12 display?
With the advent of OLED screens, the repair price of the new iPhone 12 has risen compared to the iPhone 11. Of course, you have to keep in mind that the iPhone 11 have an LCD screen. If we compare them with OLED panels, the price remains.
As soon as the mobile suffers a blow or fall, the most likely part of the phone to be damaged is the screen. Also, this is the most expensive part to repair. Luckily (to say the least) Apple has kept the repair prices for the iPhone 11 Pro family, at least when it comes to repairing the iPhone 12 Pro screen. In the case of the iPhone 12. the price goes up.

The fact that the iPhone 12 now mounts an OLED panel, unlike the iPhone 11 of 2019, implies that its repair cost is higher and is equal to that of the Pro model, which maintains the same price as its counterpart last year.
Since they cannot even be reserved yet, the company has not disclosed the cost of screen replacement or repair for the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max variants. However, it is to be imagined that the largest of all will also maintain the repair price of the iPhone 11 Pro Max, that is, 361.10 euros.
More expensive than a 5G Android mobile
Everything in Apple is expensive and a repair of this type would not be less. It is striking how, simply changing the screen of the iPhone 12 or the Pro Max, it will cost us the same price or more money per touch costs us a 5G mobile like the Samsung Galaxy A51 or the realme X50.
We will have to give it time to see what in-cell options will come out in order to offer compatible alternatives that allow a screen repair that is somewhat more affordable than the originals.
